Things you might want to try first:
Reboot your computer or mobile device
Seriously, this works most of the time, especially when the issue just started and wasn’t a problem yesterday and nothing that you know of has changed.
Computer slow?
If your computer just “seems” slow, then please reboot. When shutting down your computer don’t rely on the power button. Sometimes that just puts the computer to sleep. Use the Start button on the bottom left of your computer. Use the right mouse button (right click) and select Shut Down.
Check Internet speed
Here is a link to SpeedTest.net. If your computer is still slow after a reboot, then test your network speed. If other people on your network are downloading or streaming content then your computer may be fine, but the connection to the Internet is not. This troubleshooting procedure will test Download and Upload speeds. Both are important, but we are primarily looking for Download speeds above 10Mbps. If you are experiencing lower download speeds, then there may be others on your network taking up the bandwidth or there are issues with your router
Home network router
If you are at home, please reboot the router by unplugging, waiting about 30 secs and plug it back in. If it is an old router, over 5 years, then it might be time for a new router. Lastly, this could be a temporary slow down at the ISP (Charter etc,). Sometimes even though your household may not be competing with your bandwidth, the neighborhood could effect your speeds, especially in the evening as Netflix and other services compete.
